| Dr. Qinghong Han, a Board-Certified Acupuncture Physician, was born in Hubei, P.R. China. Dr. Han received a five-year medical training in Traditional Chinese medicine from Hubei University of TCM. She obtained an advanced degree in Gynecology from Tongji Medical University. From 1998 until early 2002 she was employed at the East-West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota as an Acupuncture Physician and Professor. She is trained in Chinese Medicine as well as in Western Medicine with more than twenty years of experience.
Dr. Han is presently focusing on her own private practice in Venice and Sarasota area. She specializes in gynecology, internal medicine, and pain control using herbs, acupuncture, Tui Na, cupping. Dr. Han treats all phases of family medicine and a variety of disorders. The treatments include acupuncture (with or without electricity), herbs, magnets, homeopathy, diet consultation, Taichi, and cooking. Our goal is to provide residents of Sarasota-Venice area with professional acupuncture services to help improve their mental and physical health.
